Thimble
Thimbles for shoe lasts, also known as "last thimbles" or "thimble molds," are small, protective caps or inserts used in the process of shoemaking, particularly in the shaping and forming of the shoe last (the mold or model over which a shoe is constructed). These thimbles are used to reinforce certain areas of the shoe last, such as the toe or heel, to ensure the shoe takes on the correct shape during manufacturing.
